WTF #20: Who Does She Think She Is? - Why I stopped performing for strangers

Why I stopped performing for strangers — and what I do instead that actually sells. 

This morning I checked in for my flight to Athens.

Business class. Of course.

The airport was packed.

Lines everywhere.

Not for me.

I walked straight up. No waiting.

That’s when I felt the looks.

At security, same thing.

Long line. Express lane for me.

Then the security officer called out,

“Miss, you don’t have to wait — come to the front.”

And a man muttered loud enough for everyone to hear:

“I wonder who this woman thinks she is…”

Here’s who I think I am: 

💎 A woman who prioritizes time over approval.

💎 A woman who chooses empty seats + ease.

💎 A woman who welcomes VIP when it’s available.

💎 A woman who keeps learning, keeps growing, keeps giving.

💎 A woman who doesn’t need to perform to be valuable.

That sentence? It didn’t offend me.

It reminded me.

You pay a price when you leave average

Not everyone claps when you stop waiting in line.

Not everyone cheers when you start taking up space.

Especially if you’re a woman.

Especially if you’re not performing anymore.

It’s not “look at me” energy.

It’s I’m done hiding energy.

I don’t owe the internet my receipts 

I don’t care to post how much I made.

Or what I spend it on.

Or how I travel.

Luxury is my standard —

and once something becomes who you are,

you don’t feel the need to talk about it anymore.

You live it. Quietly. Boldly.

Just like a real Chanel.

No one needs to know.

The ones who know, know.

Social media became a circus 🎪

 And I quit the performance

👉 No more “value” for the algorithm.

👉 No more fake smiles in luxury chairs.

👉 No more posts when my soul has nothing to say.

If I didn’t run a business,

you wouldn’t find me online.

Not because I don’t love people.

Because I love real people.

Loud homes. Screaming kids. Laughs that shake the room.

Not fake intimacy on a screen.

The work speaks louder than I ever could
