📣 WTF: When Did Being a Gentleman Become Optional?

I’ve been back in Germany for the first time in over five years — and this time, it’s for more than just a short visit.

And I’m honestly… heartbroken. Shocked.

💔 The air is still. The people are asleep. No one is questioning what’s unfolding — not in politics, not in the economy, and certainly not in the realm of gender and equality.

The Moment It Hit Me

I was at a Thai place.

Friday lunch. 

Family of four: mom, dad, son, daughter. 

And I watched something I couldn’t unsee:

• The mother and daughter ordered the food.

• They carried the drinks.

• They set the table.

• They did everything.

The men?

• Sat. 
• Watched. 
• Scrolled. 
• Did nothing. 

And the wildest part? No one blinked.

No one offered help.

No one thought anything of it.

“Equality” or Amnesia?

In Germany, it’s “equal.”

• Everything’s 50/50.

• Even the absence of reverence.

• ❌ No doors held open.
• ❌ No bills covered without debate.
• ❌ No nurturing of the feminine — the source of creation.
• ❌ No protection offered to the sacred feminine.

This isn’t equality.

It’s cultural amnesia. 🤘

It’s showing up in how women are being treated —

and how we’re treating ourselves.

It’s showing up in how men have forgotten who they are.

Let’s Define This. Clearly.

1️⃣ Gentle: 

Softness. Respect. Tenderness. Restraint.

2️⃣ Man: 

Grounded presence. Protection. Provision. Integrity.

Put them together? 

• You don’t get weakness.
• You get healing.
• You get a sacred role — not a dated one.

Being a gentleman is not performative. 

It’s protective. 

It doesn’t silence women — it honors them. ❤️

💣 So… WTF Happened?

• When did reverence become cringe?

• When did holding a door become a power play?

• When did paying for lunch become a political statement?

We didn’t evolve.

We forgot. 

And when the feminine stops being nurtured?

So does the soul of a country. 💔

• The softness.
• The depth.
• The beauty.

It dries up.

It fades out.

And all that’s left is survival wrapped in systems. 

Germany in 2025 is a masterclass in this collapse.

A country once known for invention and art is stuck in survival mode — stripped of the very soul that once made it powerful.

This Isn’t About Doors or Dinners.

It’s About Devotion.

• 🌹 Devotion to the feminine.
• 🌹 Devotion to beauty.
• 🌹 Devotion to the magic that makes life worth building for.

And men?

We need you.  ❤️

• Not to lead over. 
• But to walk beside. 
• To soften when we soften.
• To remember what it means to hold — without owning.

Because women are exhausted.

• From performing.
• From holding it all.
• From pretending not to notice when you don’t.

❤️ Gentle. Man.

Two sacred words.

One forgotten standard.

It’s not outdated.

It’s overdue.

Germany — we can do better.

The world can.

But only if we remember what gentle power really looks like.
